RABET-V: Rapid Architecture-Based Enterprise Technology Verification

RABET-V is a third-party verification program designed to assess the security, reliability, and accessibility of non-voting election technology, including electronic pollbooks, election night reporting systems, electronic ballot transmission solutions, and voter registration systems. The program uses three assessments: an organizational assessment of the vendor’s software development processes, an architecture assessment that examines how well the product is designed to mitigate risk, and a product verification confirming the system prevents unintended outcomes. All assessments are grounded in discrete security requirements drawn from national security standards. RABET-V is a trademark of The Center for Internet Security Inc. The Turnout serves as the RABET-V administrator.
