A Pause for Go Time
If you have spent this year strengthening your election security posture, whether by using the resources we’ve shared or by implementing recommended best practices, your office is better prepared, your voters are better protected, and your election is more resilient to threats.
As former election officials, we understand the planning phase is behind you. Now comes the time when those plans are put to the test. You’ve been preparing for this.
Over the coming weeks, your priority is clear: getting a safe and successful election across the finish line. With that in mind, we are pausing the newsletter until after the election so you can focus on what matters most—running secure elections for your jurisdiction and the American people. We will still send alerts and advisories if something warrants your attention, reserving our communications for when they matter most while saving your inbox along the way.
In the meantime, we want to leave you with a quick-reference list of resources, organized by cyber, physical, and operational. If an issue arises, you’ll be able to quickly find the relevant guidance and resources when you need them most.
We hope this newsletter has been valuable throughout this year, helping you navigate emerging challenges and identifying practical tools to strengthen election security. We look forward to returning after the election and continuing the conversation on the threat landscape and issues that matter most to election officials across the country.
Here’s hoping the days ahead are uneventful. But if your office does face a challenge, we are confident that you are ready to meet it.
Thank you for your continued service.
